Casting "Bride Wars" with Kate Hudson & Anne Hathaway

Jodi Purdy-Quinlan of Grant Wilfley casting is now seeking actors for Bride Wars, starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway.

Filming will begin in Boston in mid-April.

People of all races and types, union and non-union, are needed:

• Upscale men and women, specifically those with high-end, formal wedding and rehearsal Dinner attire
• Adult ballroom dance students
• DJ w/equipment
• String quartet, classical musicians and wedding band types
• Attractive men and women 18-30
• Power executives and lawyer/business types
• Children and school teacher types
• New York socialite types, ladies who lunch, etc.

Kate Hudson & Anne Hathaway in Boston

The feature film Bride Wars is set to begin filming in Boston in February 2008. Bride Wars will star Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway.

The two beauties play best friends who set the same date for their weddings. When neither is willing to change the date, the bride war begins.

Hudson's most recent release was You, Me and Dupree. Hathaway just finished filming the screen version of Get Smart with Steve Carell.

Bride Wars will be directed by Directed by Gary Winick and produced by Hudson, with Firm Films' Julie Silverman and Sunrise Entertainment's Alan Riche.

The screenplay was competed by June Raphael and Casey Wilson. Casting by Boston's own Kevin Fennessy.
