This is for one day of work in Boston, probably in mid-September, and
it's well-paid (a small, 1-day speaking role probably pays at least
$1,500).
There will be nudity required in this scene.
If you, or someone you know, is appropriate for this role, interested,
and available for an audition in Boston within the next few days, as
well as for the shooting date in mid-September, please email your
name, experience, photo, and contact phone number/s to
matt@cpcasting.com.
Your photo should be a full body shot showing you in a swimsuit, or
similar, like a "first song" outfit.
They will take a photo there, but it's always a good idea to bring a recent photo.
It should go without saying that if you are an actor you should bring your headshot and resume to any and every casting call/audition.
This call is not just for extra rolls, but also speaking roles, special bits.
You don't need to prepare anything. Some people may be given a line or two to read.
They are looking for people with Boston accents, but you don't have to have a Boston accent to be cast.
The open call is for people aged 18 as of 9/1/09 and over only! If you will not be 18 or older on September 1st, 209, do not come to this open call!
Union members and non-union, as well, are welcome at this open call. Current, paid up SAG/AFTRA members may gp to the front of the line to find out where to go and how to register.
The move will shoot from September through Thanksgiving. Most movies shoot Monday through Friday, during the day when daytime scenes are filmed, and at night when night scenes are filmed. Sometimes they shoot on a weekend.
If you absolutely can't make it to the open call, you should download C.P. Casting's size card, print it out, fill it out, and mail it, via regular mail only, to:
