Woman Driving Prius for "Edge of Darkness"

Boston Casting is seeking a woman in her late thirties through early fifties, who own a Toyota Prius, to work as a Background Performer in the Mel Gibson film, Edge of Darkness.

The scene will shoot in Eastern Massachusetts, sometime between August and December 2008.

Boston-accented Family for TV Show

Boston Casting is seeking a local family with a heavy Boston accent to compete on ABC's new show, Opportunity Knocks.

The family must live within 50-miles of Boston and have at least two children, ages 8 to 21.

They are specifically looking for middle class families. The thicker the Boston accent, the better. The more outgoing the personalities, the better!

To be considered, you must be approximately 5' 10" tall and bear a strong physical resemblance to Mel Gibson.

The film will be shot in MA between August and December, 2008.

Boston Casting needs to cast Asian Girls, Hispanic boys, and African American Boys, ages 12 to 14, with acting experience, for an educational video.

Rate: $136 a day
Shoot Dates: August 18 - 22 (1 - 3 days depending on the role)

Dogs needed: "Edge of Darkness"

Boston Casting needs dogs for Mel Gibson's film, Edge of Darkness, shooting mid-August to December in the Northampton, MA area. The job pays $50 per day.

Dogs must be:

  • 25 lbs. or smaller
  • Well-behaved and controllable
  • Jack Russell terriers, Yorkshire terriers, Poodles etc.

Shooting will take place over many days.

If you would like your dog to be considered, you:

  • Must have a fairly flexible schedule.
  • Must live within an hour of Northampton.
  • Send a photo of your dog to edge.bostoncasting@gmail.com.
  • Include your name, phone number, and town of residence.

Photos will be submitted to the Director for consideration. Owners of selected dogs will be notified in the coming month.

Tall Male Stand In - Edge of Darkness

Boston Casting is looking for a stand in for the film Edge of Darkness. They need a caucasian Male, 6' 4" tall, with a medium to large build.

Height is extremely important. Do not respond if you are not 6' 4"!

You must be able to attend a Go See this afternoon!

Also, you must have a very flexible schedule. The actor you would be standing in for works many days over the coming months and you must be able to attend all shoot days. If your schedule is not open, please do not reply.
