ABC's Opportunity Knocks with Ashton Kutcher

Boston Casting is seeking a studio audience to work for free on ABC's new Hit Reality Show, Opportunity Knocks, from executive producer Ashton Kutcher.

You must be non-union and age 18 or older.

Opportunity Knocks is a game show for families who win flashy prizes and lots of money! The studio set will be the contestants' house.

Job shoots Sat. 9/20/08 in Salem, MA.

Audience members will meet at 6PM in a parking lot nearby, then be shuttled to the set. The TV show will shoot from 7PM to 11PM. You may be on your feet for most of the show.

As with most studio audiences, there is no pay involved, although you can legitimately put it on your resume.

Boston Casting is seeking Experienced Rowers and Scullers for a feature film to be shot Sept. 25, 26 and 27th on the Charles River (you will be needed one of those days).

ABC News seeking MA Moms for Sarah Palin Story

ABC News' Good Morning America is seeking MA moms to interview for their responses to their Sarah Palin interview. The interview will be held in Stockbridge, MA, but is open to women (preferably moms) from anywhere in the state. Here's the notice:

ABC News is looking for women in Stockbridge (group should be mostly moms) to sit down with Kate Snow of ABC News this Sunday to talk about Sarah Palin.

Charles Gibson is in Alaska now, about to do the first sit down interview with the Republican Vice Presidential nominee.

They need a diverse group of women to sit down with Kate to discuss what they heard.

Casting Rastafarian for The Brotherhood

LDI Casting is seeking a male, 25- 35-years old, to portray a Rastafarian store owner in Showtime's Brotherhood.

Auditions will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2008, in Providence, RI.

This will likely be a 1 or 2 day shoot.

The exact day of filming is not scheduled. The entire episode films in Providence from 9/15/08 through 9/24/08.

Looking for Real Doctors

Boston Casting is seeking real, non-union doctors, ages 30 to 50, for a video for a medical website.

The job will soot in early October.

The doctor will need to moderate a panel discussion with talking points, and will have a prompter on-set. The doctor will have to be quick on his/her feet.

Boston Casting is seeking older, less than perfect cars for Edge Of Darkness shooting today in South Boston.

The older, rustier, and beat-up the better (as long as it runs and can be driven safely).

If chosen, you must be able to be in South Boston with your vehicle by 12:30PM.

BMX Teens for Edge of Darkness

Boston Casting is seeking teens who are experienced BMX riders for the movie, Edge of Darkness, starring Mel Gibson. They need riders for the background of a shot at the beach.

You must be a skilled BMX rider with your own bike to be considered. The scene will likely be shot Friday, September 19th.

Industrial Audition

Boston Casting is looking to cast the following roles for an industrial video:

Black Female- Mid 30's to early 40's who can do a slight Caribbean Island accent. Union or non-union. Must have acting experience to be considered.

Dominican Republic Black Male in his 50's. Must be able to speak as if limited with English. Union or non-union. Must have acting experience to be considered.

East Indian Male in his 30's who has an ability to do an accent. Union or non-union. Must have acting experience to be considered.

Latino Young Male who looks 16 years old. Union or non-union. Must have acting experience to be considered.

The audition is on Tuesday, September 9th.
